Greeting cards never die.
Since digital is, slowly but surely, overtaking all contemporary life aspects, opting for print feels almost revolutionary. For the past 4 years, I have been designing a unique greeting card for the new year and sending it to loved ones near or far. The impact of tangible things cannot be matched, which is why I try to include as much texture as possible and a handmade touch, despite the obvious digital editing. For this year, I combined analog photography with lettering painted with acryla gouache.
Shot on 35mm film in Brussels, Belgium, London, UK, Saint-Nectaire, France, and Humantay, Peru.
Hand drawn lettering, later painted in acryla gouache, edited in Photoshop.
